Description:
These gritty industrial areas of Brooklyn are rendered beautiful in this exquisite light. The photographer, who lives in Brooklyn, is fascinated with land use and how people express themselves through the built environment. He is particularly attracted to areas that are undergoing transition. Verrico has said, “Space in New York . . . is usually considered in the physical realm. But our perception and experiences within it can also influence the nature of the space.”
