After having the self-proclaimed “Greatest of All-Time” Muhammad Ali’s ear for fifteen years as his doctor, the artist is well aware of the magnitude of the title of this piece. It is a wonderful example of not only the artist’s impeccable ability to speak volumes within the borders of a single frame, but also his habitually prodigious use of color. Le Musée du Luxembourg awarded Pacheco Best Colorist in 1990.
