“My recent work has been calligraphy, which has enchanted me for many years, using Chinese brushes, Sumi ink and rice paper. It is a very separate venue from the landscapes I have done in the past. I studied at Brooklyn College with Ad Reinhardt, Rothko, Diller, Still and other great artists. I started Graduate School at New York University Institute of Fine Arts. I also studied at the Art Students League, Intaglio Workshop, New York University, and Pratt Graphic Center. ” – Olga Sheirr
