Gift of Dr. Seymour Meyer. © Dr. Seymour Meyer Description: Dr. Meyer is a renowned hand surgeon and internationally recognized sculptor who graduated from Brooklyn College in 1933. Working mainly in bronze, he creates abstract sculptures that are wonderfully imaginative. The sculpted contours in this work evoke a torch’s flickering flame.

Description: This series of screenprints, produced in London, explores variations on the artist’s Open series of paintings. The spare and elegant Open paintings incorporated “window” images within the larger painted fields of the canvases.
